『灵修日记』*轻声慢语*

读经士师记7：24～8：3

24基甸打发人走遍以法莲山地，说，你们下来攻击米甸人，争先把守约旦河的渡口，直到伯巴拉。于是以法莲的众人聚集，把守约旦河的渡口，直到伯巴拉，

24Gideon sent messengers throughout the hill country of Ephraim, saying, "Come down against the Midianites and seize the waters of the Jordan ahead of them as far as Beth Barah." So all the men of Ephraim were called out and they took the waters of the Jordan as far as Beth Barah.

25捉住了米甸人的两个首领，一名俄立，一名西伊伯。将俄立杀在俄立磐石上，将西伊伯杀在西伊伯酒榨那里。又追赶米甸人，将俄立和西伊伯的首级带过约旦河，到基甸那里。

25They also captured two of the Midianite leaders, Oreb and Zeeb. They killed Oreb at the rock of Oreb, and Zeeb at the winepress of Zeeb. They pursued the Midianites and brought the heads of Oreb and Zeeb to Gideon, who was by the Jordan.

1以法莲人对基甸说，你去与米甸人争战，没有招我们同去，为什么这样待我们呢？他们就与基甸大大地争吵。

1Now the Ephraimites asked Gideon, "Why have you treated us like this? Why didn't you call us when you went to fight Midian?" And they criticized him sharply.

2基甸对他们说，我所行的岂能比你们所行的呢？以法莲拾取剩下的葡萄不强过亚比以谢所摘的葡萄吗？

2But he answered them, "What have I accomplished compared to you? Aren't the gleanings of Ephraim's grapes better than the full grape harvest of Abiezer?

3神已将米甸人的两个首领俄立和西伊伯交在你们手中。我所行的岂能比你们所行的呢？基甸说了这话，以法莲人的怒气就消了。

3God gave Oreb and Zeeb, the Midianite leaders, into your hands. What was I able to do compared to you?" At this, their resentment against him subsided.

         “但你们各人要快快地听，慢慢地说。”（雅各书1：19）

        即是说我们应该把听到的东西在脑袋里快速思考“什么该说什么不该说？”接着才说出口。不经大脑的言语许多时候会引起纠纷、争吵、中伤他人……

        这是不好的。神喜悦人和睦，我们应当留意自己的言谈举止，我们应当说造就人的话，而非说使人跌倒的话。

        一个巴掌拍不响，若有人存心找你吵架、找碴或是故意激怒你，你也以不好或愤怒的语气回应，最终的结果往往是大吵一顿后不欢而散……但是！这时你若是以柔和的语气、恰当的言语回应，或是一笑置之，不放在心上，那么对方只会觉得自讨没趣，你们或许会意外地成为好友，上帝总是将出人意料的事情带给我们^^

        多个朋友好过多个仇敌，有句话挺有意思的：“人跟人吵架时会越吵越大声，是因为他们此刻心与心的距离越来越远；所以情人之间总是低声细语，是因为他们此刻的心非常亲近。”（大概是这样的意思:p)

        我们应当谨记耶稣的教导，学习“快快地听，慢慢地说”。
